Location - how to get here

Keepers Lodge & Alice Cottage are located within the 400 acre Slogarie Estate, in one of the most beautiful areas in South West Scotland -the Galloway Forest Park.

From Stranraer: take the A75 heading toward Dumfries, for approximately 24 miles, turn left at the A712 and continue to New Galloway (17.2 miles). Turn right on to New Galloway High Street (A762) and continue for 6.3 miles. Turn right towards Slogarie Estate and follow the road for approximately 1.3 miles when you will see a signpost for Keepers Lodge.

From Carlisle: take the A75 heading toward Stranraer, for approximately 18.8 miles going through 6 roundabouts. Turn right at the B795 and continue for 2.6 miles, turn right on to the A713 and then turn first left on to the B795 toward Laurieston. After 4 miles turn right onto the A762 and continue for 2.9 miles. Turn left towards Slogarie Estate and follow the road for approximately 1.3 miles when you will see a signpost for Keepers Lodge.

From Ayr: take the A713 heading south for 32.4 miles, going through 3 roundabouts. At the A762 turn right follow the road round and continue along New Galloway High Street (A762) for 6.3 miles. Turn right towards Slogarie Estate and follow the road for approximately 1.3 miles when you will see a signpost for Keepers Lodge.
