This stunning area of south west Scotland is about getting off the beaten track. Walking trails will take you to hidden lochs, hill-top views and lush forests. Live in harmony with Roe deer, red squirrels and the vast number of birds, including red kites and barn owls. Two bikes and several pairs of wellies are available for guests to use.

By night, view the stars clearly in the unpolluted sky through the conservatory telescope – some evenings are quite breathtaking! We have a small fishing boat moored on Loch Ken and at Kippford harbour. We are pleased to take guests out on fishing trips, or simply to chill!

Both properties are located within the 400 acre Slogarie Estate in one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of Scotland-the Galloway Forest Park.

Alice Cottage is a charming 1 bedroom cottage converted from the original kennel house to the estate.

Keepers Lodge offers 3 luxury guest bedrooms, two with shower rooms and one with separate bathroom.

Both properties offer eco-friendly luxury living, organic cotton bed linen, bathrobes, towels and toiletries. Eco-friendly products and Ecos paints are used throughout the properties. All meals served are made with organic ingredients.

We have been committed to organic food production for many years - having an organic smallholding registered with the Soil Association before moving to Keepers Lodge.
